What is सारथि Sarathi?

In the old stories, the sarathi is the charioteer: the one who keeps the reins steady while the warrior faces the battle.

Sarathi does the same for the battle inside, with anger, pride, worry and old habits. It is rooted in Jain psychology and spoken in everyday language, so it fits into an ordinary day at home, at work, or anywhere in between.

It does not grade you, chase streaks or raise its voice. It helps you notice, and offers one small step at a time.

The Sarathi mark: two letters S facing each other, one cocoa and one saffron, with a red bindi where they meet.
  • The self. The cocoa S is you as you are today: present, and unjudged.
  • The becoming. Its saffron reflection is the self you are growing toward.
  • The way between. Daily practice, one quiet step at a time.

What you will find inside

Each part is small on purpose. Together they make a daily rhythm: a teaching to begin, a few pauses along the way, and a moment to look back.

  • A daily wisdom card

Each morning, one short teaching in your language, drawn from a library of about 250 books on Jain thought and told in everyday words.

  • Gentle nudges, quiet nights

Up to seven short nudges a day, at times that fit your routine. Nothing arrives between 10 pm and 7 am.

  • An evening journal

Five questions, about four minutes, typed or spoken. Sarathi reads your day back to you with a short reflection and one small step for tomorrow.

  • Karma Mirror कर्म दर्पण

A calm view of seventeen traits: six passions to cool and eleven virtues to grow. It shows your patterns over time, never a score.

  • Ask सारथि

Ask about your inner life or your practice, in your own words and language. Sarathi answers simply, and stays with what matters.

  • Practices and sounds

Guided sittings with a timer that keeps going when your screen is off, and a library of meditations, stotras, chants and talks.

  • A journey in levels

For the first fifteen days, Sarathi mostly listens. Then your path begins at a level that fits you, and unfolds step by step.

  • In your language

Use the app in English, Hindi or Gujarati. Teachings, the journal and answers all follow your choice.

    • English
    • हिन्दी
    • ગુજરાતી
  • “Are you okay?”

Now and then, Sarathi asks how you are feeling on a simple scale of 1 to 10. If a day feels too heavy, Help-Me shows a helpline, such as Tele-MANAS 14416 in India, and lets our small support team know.

How it works

Three small moments a day. Nothing more is asked of you.

  1. Set up in a few minutes

Choose your language, pick the life profile closest to yours, and set the times that suit you for nudges and the evening journal.

  2. Go about your day

A teaching arrives in the morning. A few gentle nudges follow, each one a small pause to notice, breathe and choose again.

  3. Reflect at night

Answer five short questions, typed or spoken. Sarathi reads your day back to you and offers one small step for tomorrow.

For the first fifteen days, Sarathi mostly listens, so that what it offers later fits you.

Your reflections are yours.

Sarathi is built for honest moments, so it has to be a safe place to have them.
